Cox offers subsidized internet for low income families for only $9.95 a month. To quality, you need to have a child enrolled in school who receives free lunch from the National Free School Lunch Program. We are more than happy to assist in the setup process, but in order to apply and qualify, we need two pieces of documentation:
- Proof of enrollment in school (for one child)
- Proof of enrollment in the National Free School Lunch program (for one child)
Once the documentation has been acquired, please submit them through the form below.
Additionally, we may be required to provide your social security number and/or driver’s license/ID number to Cox for them to process the application. In rare circumstances, we can begin the initial setup for you, but you may have to take your ID to a local Cox store to complete the setup. If this is the case we will provide you with the location and hours of the nearest Cox store to you.
If Cox is not available at your location, Century Link may be able to provide this service.
It is important to note that if you already have internet service through Cox or Century Link they will not approve your application for subsidized Internet service.
